GIVING
Why Give?
​
​We worship God through giving because our Lord Jesus gave Himself for us (2 Cor. 8:9). Giving financially is one of the many ways we demonstrate our love for God because
as Christians we give our entire lives as living sacrifices to God (Rom. 12:1).
We have a hope beyond this world, so we freely and joyfully give knowing our treasure
is in heaven (Matt. 19:21).
Our tithes and offerings go toward supporting the various ministries of the church,
building maintenance, and supporting Southern Baptist missionaries around the world,
all for the glory and praise of God’s name.
"What shall I render to the Lord
for all his benefits to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name of the Lord,
I will pay my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people."

How to Give

Online Giving
You may give online using a credit/debit card or e-check (ACH). When you give online, Baxter receives your offering, minus the fees added from our online giving platform. (Credit/Debit Card Fees: 2.9% + 0.30 | ACH/Bank Transaction Fees: 1% + 0.30)
Example:
If you give $100 using a credit/debit card, Baxter receives $96.80.

If you give $100 using an ACH/Bank transaction, you have the option to pay the fees upfront, and Baxter receives $100.

Cash & Checks
You may give cash or checks during the Sunday morning worship gathering.
(Checks written out to “Baxter Avenue Baptist Church”)
